Correct evaluation of cooperative institutions is necessary: Sarang

This was said by Cooperatives, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Sarang as the chief guest in the 45th Annual General Meeting of State Bank Officers Cooperative Credit Society Limited organized at Samanvay Bhavan.

Mr. Sarang said that cooperatives have always contributed significantly to the development of society and the nation. Therefore, correct evaluation of cooperative institutions is necessary. He assured appropriate initiative from the Madhya Pradesh government in providing a safe environment to bank employees and officers. Along with this, the bank employees were appealed to contribute fully in the goal of establishing the country as the third power of the world by 2047. On this occasion, Deputy Managing Director of State Bank of India Chandra Shekhar Sharma said that cooperative credit society has an important contribution in the society. The officers' cooperative credit society in the State Bank has been successful in its objective.

Earlier, Mr. Sarang and Mr. Sharma along with State Bank of India's Deputy General Manager and Divisional Development Officer Manish Mathpal, SBI Officers' Association President Anil Srivastava and General Secretary Sanjeev Mishra, SBI Employees' Cooperative Credit Committee President Praveen Meghani and SBI Officers' Cooperative Credit Committee President Suresh Babu Meena and Vice Presidents Sanjay Dwivedi and Sunil Tiwari inaugurated the general meeting. Thereafter, the committee's chairman Suresh Babu Meena said in the welcome speech that this committee is the main committee of State Bank officers posted in MP and Chhattisgarh and in the coming time, this committee will try to give momentum to the movement of cooperation in collaboration with other reputed cooperative institutions of the country. At the same time, the General Secretary of the Officers' Association Sanjeev Mishra said that it has been our principle to give importance to the country first, then the institution and finally the individual. At present, work is being done in full coordination between the union and the institution. The program was conducted by Bhavna Tahilani, Lata Bharti and thanks were expressed by Sanjay Dwivedi. In the second business session of the general meeting, the account of the work of the committee was presented, which was approved unanimously.
