Minister Sarang performed Puja-Archana on Janmashtami in Central Jail Bhopal

Cooperation, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang participated in the Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations organized at the Cultural Bhawan of the Central Jail premises in Bhopal on the occasion of Janmashtami and worshiped Lord Krishna.

Also sent heartfelt wishes of Janmashtami to the jail personnel present. On this occasion, Minister Sarang inaugurated the newly constructed high security unit building of Central Jail Bhopal and observed the security arrangements. He said that with the construction of this building, the jail security system will be further strengthened and necessary facilities can also be provided to the prisoners. During the program, Minister Sarang said that the objective of the government is that the jail should not be only a prison but a reformatory house. Every prisoner coming here should get an opportunity to rejoin the mainstream of society. For this purpose, religious and cultural programs as well as positive activities are organized in the jails so that the prisoners can improve themselves and move towards a better life. He also said that on the occasion of Janmashtami, special programmes have been organised not only in Bhopal but in jails across Madhya Pradesh. Such programmes spread positive energy in the prison environment.
