MoU between Cooperative Union and Mandi Board with NCEL, export will increase, farmers will benefit

Madhya Pradesh Cooperative Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang announced very important initiatives in the interest of farmers at a state-level workshop held in Bhopal.
Minister Sarang said that in line with the policy of empowering cooperatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Cooperative Minister Amit Shah, the formation of NCEL has become a touchstone connecting farmers to global markets. Through this MoU, the way will be paved to increase the export of spices and handicraft products of the state. 1578 cooperative societies of Madhya Pradesh have taken membership of NCEL, so that the organization can now make the export of farmers easier. During the workshop, grant amount was distributed to more than 100 beneficiaries with government support. This agreement between NCEL, Cooperative Union and Mandi Board in the Sahyog program is part of the campaign to directly take the farmers' produce to the international market. In the program, Additional Chief Secretary Ashok Varnwal clarified that now farmers will get a fair price for their crops.
He said that now there will be a system to send the farmers' products to the agricultural markets on the basis of actual demand and get them those prices. NCEL Managing Director Anupam Kaushik said that export processes are being digitally modernized to take the special agricultural products of Madhya Pradesh to the global level. This will increase the income of farmers and give new impetus to the cooperative movement in the state. This MoU is an important initiative to bring Madhya Pradesh's agriculture-based economy to global standards. There is a potential increase in both cultural identity and rural income by exporting farmers' products.
