The world's largest Rakshabandhan festival concluded on Wednesday. A record 1 lakh 84 thousand 632 sisters tied Raksha-Sutra to Minister and Narela MLA Vishwas Kailash Sarang, setting a new golden record.

In this world famous Rakshabandhan festival, which has been organized continuously for the last 16 years, sisters from various areas of Bhopal including all 17 wards of Narela Assembly participated and made the program historic. On this occasion, Mr. Sarang said that this festival is not just a festival but a living symbol of the unwavering faith of sisters and brothers. He said that last year more than 1 lakh 82 thousand sisters had blessed by tying Rakhi. This year this number increased further to 1 lakh 84 thousand 632. This affection and faith gives me constant strength for public service.

A huge crowd of sisters gathered on the last day too
The enthusiasm in the programs of the last day was worth seeing. A huge crowd of sisters gathered in the festival organized in Ward 41 and 59 of Narela Assembly. On this occasion, every woman who came to tie Rakhi was given an umbrella, saree, sanctified Rudraksha as a gift and special arrangements were made for food.

People's movement against love jihad and drugs
Minister Kharang said that Rakshabandhan festival is no longer just a festival of Rakhi, but has also become a platform to honor women power. The struggle will continue against the elements that trap sisters in the dark shadow of love jihad and drugs.
